Dr. D. Todd Russell – Dr. Russell is a proud graduate of Mount Union College (BS 1990), University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine (DDS, 1994), and has completed an extended dental residency at MetroHealth Medical Center (1994 – 1995). He has practiced in the Cleveland suburban areas of Willoughby, Richmond Heights, Mayfield Heights, Beachwood, but has finally found a great and permanent home in Macedonia, Ohio since 1999.
Dr. Russell continues to grow not only his practice, by always welcoming new patients, but also his scope of abilities through activities related to dentistry and the community. Dr. Russell is an active donator to community charities, a youth athletic coach and board member, and a church community leader and volunteer. He also attends continuing education seminars frequently due to his strong belief in keeping current with the most innovative and advanced dental techniques. He is and an active member in several professional associations.
Dr. Russell is a strong supporter of the greater Cleveland Region. He is mostly noted for his work with our professional and amateur sports teams and has gained nationwide recognition for sports dentistry and injury prevention. Currently he is the team dentist for the Lake Erie Monsters Hockey Team (AHL), the Cleveland Gladiators Football Team (AFL), formerly for the now defunct Cleveland Lumberjacks Professional Hockey Club, and a team dentist for several area High School and Organizational athletic teams.
Dr. Russell believes strongly in providing dental care for the entire family with an emphasis on his patients understanding their treatment options, long and short term service of the work, and obtaining realistic outcomes both in esthetics and financial obligations. Even more importantly it is his philosophy of making a visit to the dentist a more pleasurable and comfortable experience than his profession has become known for that sets him apart.
Dr. Russell has completed and coordinated many dental care plans including but not limited to, routine restorations, cleanings, preventative care minor oral surgery, implant placement and restoration, root canals, cosmetic enhancements like veneers, crowns/caps, Invisalign clear braces, Zoom bleaching, and full mouth dental reconstructions and rehabilitations.
Dr. Robert Brandhorst received a BS in Biology and a BA in Psychology from Purdue University in 1990 and 1991 respectively and his D.D.S. degree from Indiana School of Dentistry in 1995. Dr. Brandhorst has completed a general practice residency program at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland in 1996. He has been in private practice in Northeast Ohio for the last 14 years.
While at Metro Health Medical Center, Dr. Brandhorst presented a table clinic at the North Coast Meeting. The research that he and a colleague did on Tongue Touch Key Pad, a device to help quadriplegics move and function in their environment, and was awarded first place.
Dr. Brandhorst lives in Hudson with his wife, Dr. Mary Dubelko, who is a veterinarian at Keystone Clinic in Stow. Dr. Brandhorst enjoys spending time with his 3 young sons, Joey (13), Jack (9) and Jimmy (6). Dr. Brandhorst also enjoys hiking, reading, jogging and most recently remodeling his home.
Dr. Brandhorst brings to the practice enthusiasm and commitment to quality dentistry and he looks forward to seeing existing as well as new patients.
